Database with Microsoft Access

In addition to relational databases (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, ..) QuizFaber also makes the database available for Microsoft Access, MDB files. This database can be used for complete imports or exports of quizzes. Furthermore, being a local MDB file it can be easily stored or exchanged between PCs.

The MDB file with the schema is available in the "Database" folder in the QuizFaber installation folder or download from this link: QuizFaberDatabase.mdb, and can be opened by selecting "Open MS Access Database" from the Database menu, as shown in the following figure:

The following figure shows the database schema, identical to the schema for relational databases:

Please note that you can choose two drivers, the first is very old, the second is the one currently in use:

• Microsoft JET OLEDB 4.0
• Microsoft ACE OLEDB 12.0

The choice of the driver must be done in the options window, Tools menu
