Importing questions from another quiz

There are two ways of importing questions into a quiz. The first allows you to import it into an empty quiz. The second allows you to import questions into an existing quiz.
The first mode is available on the recently opened files page, "Import .." button, as shown in the following figure:

The second way, that is to import questions from another quiz into the current quiz, once the quiz is open, is found in the " Import Quiz " item from the File menu .

It is possible to import questions from the following file types:

• From an other quiz previously created with QuizFaber (file with XQZ or QZ extension).
• From an Access database whose database schema is very simple, consisting of two tables, the question table and the answer table, as explained in this article.
• From a XML Moodle file, as explained in this article .

The import mode is always the same. For example, to import another quiz produced by QuizFaber, select the item " From Quiz File (XQZ or QZ) ", as shown in the following figure:

A dialog window will appear, and you can select the file name (with file extension .XQZ or .QZ) of the quiz to be imported:

Then, a new dialog window will appear, as shown in figure below:

In this dialog window you can choose whether to import all the questions or only the selected questions, and the entry position of imported questions: at the head of current quiz, at the end or in the current position.

In order to select a question, click on the first column. To select more than one question, use the key Ctrland Shiftwhen you press the left mouse button.
